Parc looking for Captains for Easy, on the NG?
Just had an email from Parc,
apparently there looking for Capts for a one year contract, flying the NG! Seems strange from an Airbus operator. Do they still have 700's?
I'm only an FO, but thought you might like to know.....

There are currently 8 NG's left at LTN, this will be down to 2 by next March.
The final 2 NG's stay at LTN for a further year, easy want them to be crewed by 'Flexible' pilots. The full time skippers that are due to stay on the NG's till the death at LTN have refused to take the flexible roster unless EZ cough up 40K for the privilege.

Which when they're contracted to a fixed pattern,
and easyJet was offering £10k for three months opting out of the fix pattern this year makes sense!
12/3 = 4
4x10K = 40k

Just had a call from CTC re Capt positions on 737, 18 month contract based Luton, anybody else got any more info about this? Seems a little strange given the small number of NGs they have left, particularly as a previous post indicates that number may be down to 2 by next year. And what's a 'flexible' contract?Hmmm.
