Sim screening !

Hi Guys,

As It was to be expected, I have just received the following mail indicating that the pilot demand is now really covered for 2011

"Dear applicant,

Thank you very much for your interest in Lufthansa Italia.

The pilot demand for 2011 is covered due to the high number of successful applicants during the last months. Your application has been saved and the basic assessment you passed at the DLR stays valid.

We will inform you promptly, as soon as the selection process restarts and will then contact you for the simulator screening.

Thank you very much for your understanding!

Best regards"

It is sad for us but true !

Cheers

I got the same email . I don't think they will be looking for more pilots in 2012 our anywhere in the near future.

Does anyone know if you can skip the DLR for Lufthansa Cityline/ Condor/ Swiss if you have passed for LHI our do you have to do the same thing all over again in German?

Your DLR results are still valid for City Line and German Wings (both Lufthansa Group). However, you'd have to take the test again for airlines other than those belonging to the Lufthansa Group.

Good luck!

A dear friend that works for LHI just informed me that the show will be closed down in October.

The german pilots have won their battle.

Pieces of S.H.I.T. till the end.

Well done Vulka, you lost another opportunity to stick your fingers up in your nose and instead you decided to type some more nonsense, making a fool of yourself. What about the Italian chaps hired by LHI?

Yes, we better go home, you guys speek such a !!!!ty english, we better leave you alone
You can go anywhere you like dude or stay, it's up to you, but do not generalise. Vulka has obviously an axe to grind but I haven't heard any "Queen's English" over the radio from a German, yet...

Tschüss

LH press release : Lufthansa -*Lufthansa changes its Italy strategy
I must say I am glad that this cancer of work outsource comes to an end now. In the long run this is the best for all pilots.
I agree, studi
But primarily we are not racist, and we are proud of this...
And that's also true.

From any evaluating point of view you want consider LHI, it is a huge LH failure.
Mo more, no less.

Are you guys sure they are going to fire all the pilots? Or maybe they are going to be relocated in another company of the group, like BMI or GWI?
I can't imagine how much money DLH has spent over the training for all 30-40 type ratings...

Compared to the total amount of wasted money, you are talking of peanuts...

Now that Lufthansa Italia is shutting down, what will happen to the Italian pilots who left their previous jobs and joined LI? Will they be incorporated into the bigger Lufthansa or will they lose their jobs and be unemployed?

If they qualified for Lufthansa Italia, surely they should be good enough to work for the bigger operation - right?

No, not right. Sad to say, but even they passed the DLR it is not the "real" DLR.
So LHI Pilots are not able to join Germaynwings and in no way they can join LH. In both companys german is the requiered language.

Sad situation, but thats the way LH works. I hope for all LHI guys that you get at least some help from LH.
