Congratulations dirk85 !
Do you know how many passed for this session ?
Does your message mean that you didn't undergo RAG and TVT tests ?
Do you confirm there is no interview during this first day ?
I wish you the best for the next step...

No RAG nor TVT, and no interview in this stage.
Bye!

Haha, best of luck on the DLR.
I asked because I applied a bit over a month ago, stil haven't got a call. Just wondering about the time they take to call someone.
Few of my former instructors didn't pass the DLR and they are good pilots! I hearded it was like a 3 % pass rate.

Any clue?
Hi guys,
Does anyone has any clue about when are they going to stop calling people for the DLR?
And does anyone have any info on how many guys passed the DLR until now?
Best of luck to all.

DLR Tests
Hello,
Can anyone please tell, if they give paper and a pen to perform (or help) in the calculations?
I speak for myself, and seems pretty difficult to anwer "by heart" the exact calculation of for instance, 3753x(7/5) within 10 seconds. Maybe they take into account if we give a very close result.
At the first stage, are they including the best part, beyond this boring "games"...I mean ATPL theory, real aviation knowledge?
Thanks guys,
All the best

Hi rasfcivil,
You have no pencil and paper, so you have to do it by heart. And they want the exact result. I can tell you that it can be done.
But don't worry too much, you don't have to perform 100% in any test, just try to do your best, if you manage to exceed the average outcome of your mates during that day, you'll pass.
For those asking some info on the sim, you can find all the info here on this thread, thats what I did.
I am sorry but I was asked not to talk about the scenario and the airport used.
The only thing is that you are going to fly alone, the captain on your left will only act as a robot, not making any call outs etc.
1 hour basic flying, 20-30 minutes CRM module.
For those going on for the third assessment, please contact me PM.

Simulator Screening
Hi there,
Can anyone give me some information about the simulator screening (2nd step after DLR) for LHI? I know that it's all raw data ifr with a sid, holding, approach, go around, etc etc....but can anyone give me feedback about the handling of the simulator??? is it hard?? is it full motion? should i go somewhere in europe to do a couple of hours in full motion b737-300 simulator?
And can anyone tell me where is the airport where they usually do the approaches and the sid???
Thank you very much!!!
Cheers!
