What is your notice period?
I'm just trying to get a feel for the various T&C's out there at the moment, and so I would quite like to know what range of notice periods are out there and for which operators.
Thanks

Three calendar months seems to have been the norm for many years?
The matter of breaking your contracted notice period has been discussed before on PPrune. Even if you were to buy yourself out it's probably not a good idea. In not biting the bullet and working out your full time you run the risk of attracting a shadow to yourself which you might not loose.

Labour laws in Australia have brought the notice period down to two weeks in the first year of employment, then four weeks. Employers have brought this on themselves because that's all they are prepared to give as termination or redundancy notice. It certainly makes life easier if you want to move on.
