Does anyone have any information on term and conditions etc. for civilian pilots with Air Tanker? Their website is rather sparse on the topic.

They have recently been advertising for 'senior' flight ops people. Just a guess, but prob safe to assume once they are in place and up and running more info will follow.

The suggested time frames on their site suggest recruitment will kick off in 2011, or between 2011 and 2014 depending on how you read into it.
