Air Asia A320 Cpt salary ?
Hi All,
Can anyone tell me what the salary is for a DEC on the A320 at Air Asia in KL ? And what the local income tax liabilities are for expats ?

Hi,
The basic salary is 12000 RM and the tax income about 12%, them you earn 195 per hour with no tax, aprox 5800€.
Have you been enterview by them? What they ask on the written exams? And the interview?
I have mine next month and I don't have any idea about what the ask.
Please reply if you can guime some tips.

Hi Maz,
Thanks for the information.. I am just filling out the online application and have no idea about interview process. A friend has just done it, so i will grill him a bit and let you know.

while I am not with them, my colleagues are, & the info is that it's roughly about rm25000 (at present rates roughly Euro 5800) & that's it.
The hourly pay isn't taxable but the tax break is only approved by law till 2012.At Rm12k basic, the tax bracket lies between 24% & 27%. refer to here Malaysia Tax Rates.
