TCX in UK.
Superb company but sadly the chances of getting in are lower than a snakes belly button

Fantastic little number, even post Mueller. Providing you are DUB based.

As for that IAD-MAD operation with Yankee flight crews. T&Cs are probably as different as night and day.

Monarch.

Currently same boat as TCX, very difficult (and requires a lot of luck) to get on this fleet, and generally it's mixed.

European Charter A330

What happened to that North-Italian outfit, supposed to have started A330 charters, some time ago?

I think what gaijin means is that the best A330 job is one where you actually have nothing to do with an A330. A Boeing man perhaps ;-)

2 trips a month, £200k a year + company Aston

That'd be the best A330 job ever.

Until someone decided to charge for the line training............

Best A330 Job

Most Probably

Oman Air _ if you want a quiet expat lifestyle in the Gulf. Not overworked yet not the best paid job, but have a stable job and enjoy flying tax free.

Emirates if you enjoy the turn arounds and the occasional layover. and the occasional 340 .

I thought Virgin were against operating two engines over the pond?

The 330 is a stopgap Gratis from Boeing due to the 787 delays and will go some way to filling the gaps in capacity as the 744s are sent for heavy checks and total cabin refresh.

They'll be taking over the leisure routes out of Manchester without Upper class initially before being deployed on shorter 3 class LHR routes.

World of Tweed, are you guessing? How do you know that exactly if you don't work for Virgin?

I'd be surprised if a delay in an order for 15 787's gets 10 free Airbus A330's out of Boeing! They're not that benevolent are they?

Since Virgin recently got rid of aircraft (and crews) due to EXCESS capacity, I don't think any GAPS in capacity have materialised yet. In any case, the A330s are unlikely to go when the 787's arrive (if they do arrive!) and fill a very different role to the 787. The Virgin A330's are the short(er) range version and will not do a very good job of subbing for a ULR capable 787! Different market.
