Chaps,

How much is the bond for B737 type rated DECs which Turkish Airlines is applying for B737 contract pilots?

Parc and Wynnwith offer the contact and should provide you with a draft contract, it is all written there.
Beside the bond, read carefully about the other items...

Thanks.

Neither of the agencies will tell me what the bond is until after I have passed the screening. It makes me a little suspicious..........

Why would you have to provide a bond if you are an experienced captain on type?

A colleague told me, if I am not mistaken, that they dock you $7500 if you don't complete the contract, this also applies if you are terminated
And with a clause like that they expect you to give them 3mths notice

All a clause like this achieves is that someone who wants to leave will wait till the salary is in the bank & then Adios !

I guess they try to justify the sum by saying it covers the cost of OCC. In another thread on Middle East forums it was written that they were giving something like 15sim sessions. Does it take that long to explain the A/T & FMA?

You are welcome, I looked up the old thread in ME forum with search, it was 40hrs sim, still a lot of time allocated to learn S.O.P's for an experienced guy. Worth a look at the thread if you hadn't seen it, particularly the last post on 19th Jan by Turkpilot.

No company is worth working for that requires a training bond. There are plenty airlines hiring that don't require bonds.

Be aware, 5 years ago all the manuals (SOP,Fcom...) where in Turkish. I guess they have changed it now.

I wonder what they would feed me during 15 additional sims sessions. All of Rad alt failures maybe?
