Take home pay Air Mauritius ATR captain

Hi!

Could someone please tell me the pay I would have to expect as ATR captain with Air Mauritius?

What is the approximate cost for a monthly rental of a small but comfortable house within less than an hour's driving distance from the airport?

Any information from locals or colleagues who have flown there recently would be highly appreciated.

I know of an ATR captain with Jet Airways. Pay is about $8,700 per month. There are some expats who left Air Mauritius for Jet for the better pay. You may wish to look into Jet as an alternative.

And how much do you have to pay in taxes?

Flew the B767 there - great place to stay ............ Pay varies from fleet and ATR is at the bottom. The above mentioned salary is for Jet Airways - MK is much less - Try PPJN, its close.

What about A330/340 FO, please tell me those payscales on PPJN aren't correct Either that or they're confusing, total take home pay in hand would be much appreciated

PPJN is close - I left with the 767s and all my time PPJN was correct - seems right ! I wold never say that MK is great pay and when you retire its all about how much you made - that said great place to stay.
