To get the numbers, just read my post on the same thread but on the previous page!

Believe me, they are correct..

If you will be qualified as a senior FO at Wizz..? You will need 1500 factored hours, however Wizz have lately refused new co pilots to join as senior FOs because of cost cutting in the present economic situation.

I put up a shed load of Info on Wizz a few years ago.
As far as I know nothing has changed except the expansion of the Airline.
Do a search.

And regarding the up-gradings what can you tell me? How is it going on? Is there any seniority or you just need to comply with the company minimum requeriments and have a good file? I think that with so many a/c coming they will need to huge amonut of Cpt. apart from the Direct Entry.

Hei ATR 250 Vmo, could you give me more info on the JOC course in Germany. I mean this is the cheapest JOC I have heard about. Could you give me a link or a telephone for contacting those guys who run the course?
Thank you in advance!

wizz air

I heard they are waiting till December to collect apllications, then they will contact 'selected applicants'. If you do not have any recommendation from present Wizz Air captains, the is almost no chance, no matter how many hrs you have.

Nonsense!!

People are being called, interviewed and offered jobs as we speak....

...as for Wizz Captains and chances? Yes, it's true that ALL Wizz pilots have been asked for recommendations, but people have been offered jobs without this.

If you want my opinion, the Wizz guys know what they are looking for. This month, it could well be Captains. Next, it may be Cadets. The month after it could be SFO's.... we need to fill seats and there is a demographic model we need.

All I can say is... hang in there.

Hey guys !

According to Wizz's web site, A320 TR are carried out at Airbus Training Centre, Toulouse.

But who is in charge of Wizz's selection process ?
Is it still CAE ?

If not, does someone know where the selection takes place and its content ?

Thanks

No one (my friends nor me) have been invited or contacted from Wizz yet. They wrote on their web pages we should wait till december. It's rumoured that they have some troubles with a cash flow now...

I was told a long time ago to watch out for this crowd as it was expanding at an alarming rate. Where was the funding coming from?
I suppose it is fine in the boom times but if they are highly leveraged the cracks might be about to show.

No evidence as the financial reports are not available.

Unskilled work at city restaurants or petrol stations pay as well as F/O work at Wizzair. Back to communist days.

How about this for a thought,

Considering the idiots out there paying to work, flying 500 hrs on type, I guess being paid to fly a plane these days is a real novelty.

So based on this fact, Wizz seems to be a good deal

Get paid or pay to work
