A320 Captains ad for Turkish Airlines

Does anybody know anything about the T's & C's. They want you to fill in a 7 page application, without a hint as to what is on offer. Seems a bit one sided. Also, in the "date last flown" drop list you can only select 2008 as the most recent year. Maybe they don't want current people?

Their responsee is even slower than mine has been.
They interviewed shedloads of guys back in Spring.
Most were very very experienced on type.
Interview was a very relaxed affair, just a chat really, and sim check a walk in the park, even if you weren't current. No mention whatsoever of salary etc.

End result thus far, more than 6mths later, I heard a rumour a couple of guys had tentative offers, but STILL no details of T's & C's.
The rest of us heard nothing whatsoever, and I am talking a lot of applicants.
I know of nobody who was offered employment.

I have the distinct impression that candidates are being used as pawns in a political game between the airline, the unions, and possibly the government, whom you must count one member of as a friend if you are to "normally" enter Turkish Airlines, as a Turkish citizen.
Very nespotic, I am informed.
By all means apply, spend a night or two expenses paid in IST, but don't hold your breath for the phone to ring.
From what I have seen, I don't know why they bothered with an ad in Flight International, strange coves indeed.
