Gooday, Are there any expats working for RAM as f/os on the Rishworth contract who can comment about the industrial status? Is there any agro towards the f/o's? How is life there for a married couple no kids? cheers

Are you talking about RAM Express or RAM mainline?
For sure no foreign captains to join mainline right now, 6 industrial actions in the last weeks have created a hostile situation.
If you can wait until end of October, that may help as some interesting changes are expected to take place.

Casablanca, your expected base, is a crowded and expensive place; however, the town has it's charm and offers a lot for everyone, it is up to the individual to accept and explore. To get around some French language knowledge will be very helpful ; shops and restaurants are available for all tastes . Apartments in the center are plenty available, expect 800 - 1000€ for a decent one.
Taxi are cheap, however, do not expect the standard you may be used to.

Good luck
