Question for Leo
I am not sure what happened, but in one of the threads about Aer Lingus I had posed a question for Leo Hairy-Camel,(who I believe had started the thread), about pensions. The whole thread seems to have disappeared, so to allow Leo to respond, how much do Ryanair pay into your pension?

So is this Leo or the Real Slim Shady? Or are they one and the same?
Is your statement the same "need to know" that requires the hirsute one to pontificate over every other airlines terms and conditions?
The desire of the few vocal Ryanair mouthpieces to comment and invariably disparage everybody else's T & C's, to try and continue the pretence that you enjoy industry leading terms, needs to be challenged. RSS, you must also enjoy the same pension benefits as Leo. How much?

Nice one 100%, I thought it was unlikely LHC would reply with such brevity.
LHC did actually reply to this some time ago by stating he looked after his own pension arrangements and saying he preferred that amount of control, if I remember correctly. He declined to say whether RYR actually made any contribution or not. I can only guess that TRSS and his wife, ATS, are in the position. This is in contrast with most unionised companies in UK.
Don't expect an answer too soon.

There is something most peculiar in your constant sniping at Ryanair that I can't put my finger on. I find it unnerving.
You live in the past and have become an embarrassment to yourself. I suggest that you look at exactly what companies in any industry are giving the old style 'golden Pension' these days. Don't include Public sector workers. Only 1 in 5 major employers allows new starters to join a final-salary pension scheme at present.
Last week you made as unhelpful comment to someone asking information for Ryanair assessment. Just wasn't appropriate buddy. Likewise your showing of a PM on this board.

So you want us to become a strong union workforce like the great UK dockers, shipping, steel, car, coal etc, industries? Fat lot of good unions did for them.
What were you doing in the 70's when the dead couldn't be buried, me fighting fires in a Green Goddess, pavements full of household and industrial waste, power cuts, the 4 day working week, power cuts to homes, gas shortage to industry?
Have a think about the cause .............. unions .............. but I don't expect you to agree to that as your attitude to the employer is clear.

Nightflight, you'd have more chance getting written permission from the squire to visit on an open day than to get that information. Imagine an impromptu pprune members visit to Gigginstown. We'd have to invite Leo and Leo. perhaps a few others including Grim, Slim and for balance Dr Death himself. Spirits should be high after T2 opening ceremony? Whats life without a laugh.

Where has Leo gone? He's normally so quick to provide the answer for the problems of Aer Lingus, easy, BA and the commercial problems of aviation generally I don't understand why he doesn't want to answer this one simple question?
