Where and how to get B777 type rating resonably?

Hi everybody. I am slightly over 50, total 11.000 hrs+, most of that B737/3/4/5. Time to invest money and effort. Any recomendations? No jokes, please.

flying doctor in PRG? We may have flown together in F8.

Try CCL - Korean Air Recruitment Details

at least that comes with a job attached. Or do you have something lined up upoin gaining the rating?

If you're going to Asia, just get an FAA ticket, rating are cheaper there. Run a google search, try Higher Power Aviation, Simcenter.cc, Premair...loads of TRTOs should appear.

Problem, with no wide bodied time you may not get a DEC with a new type, and being over 45 you will not get Korean FO position, before you spend a small fortune, as the base training will cost that! try Quatar as a sounding board..anyway best of luck

Thank you. Of course that is more demanding to the operator than as it needs longer line training and so.

I met a guy who flew 737-800s for a now bankrupt Euro airline who is now flying 777s at Qatar. They are hiring - go check it out.

Let Qatar pay for your type rating. Problem solved. Good luck!

For Qatar, you'll have to sign a 4 years contract and stay there..
