DHL

Can anyone assist? I have a short notice interview for DHL and wonder if anyone out there can shed some light on the interview, the questions asked etc etc? Thank you in advance for any help forthcoming with this one.

Regards.

interview

Hi Starvoyager

I believe that they tend to ask a lot of technical questions in the interview interspersed with typical interview questions. I think some of the questions can be aircraft specific if you have a type-rating e.g. where are key instruments/controls etc located? Others may be ops questions - minima etc.

Sorry this is only second hand information but is what I was told by someone else who did an interview with them. He had a type-rating on the B757 already. The format could be different for someone with less hours and no TR.

Do you mind if I ask your background and experience level? I am interested in DHL but I don't have a lot of experience - frozen ATPL, no TR.

Good luck with the interview.

Sorry Woofly, but current word is no FO recruitment until at least next year, full hold pool so nothing until market movement frees up some seats, and then would guess Leipzig only.
As regards skippers, don't know.

DHL

Mrpilot....thanks indeed for the info you offered, any heads up at all can be helpful. As for my experience (for what its worth....10,000 total; mainly wide body and 3000 of that ex-military with about 3000 command B767/757).

If there is anyone else out there who can offer any gems of an insight to the DHL interview....please feel free to chip in here and the correct answers would be worth a bob or two lol.

Thanks again everyone.

You are very welcome Starvoyager...sorry I could not be more specific. It certainly sounds like your experience will be a huge advantage. They sound like a good outfit from what I've heard. Good luck!
