TRSS taken to a new level

Hopefully the most experienced of us will show the way and all refuse that deal...otherwise buying a share in an airline prior to joining will soon be a prerequisite...

REF 912: B777 Non type rated DEC - 200423716 - Flight Jobs

On the side of this why are Korean so short of FD? They seem to be constantly screening FO and Capt for 73/330/747 etc?

Agreed, a new low in aviation.

Been around for ages this deal. Same on their other fleets. What I never could fathom was that on one hand they take on DEC's but if you started off as an experienced F/O you would never see the LHS with them. Sure command training costs some money, but its mainly sim time and rostering standards and training captains to fly with you. Its not like its hundreds of thousand of quid. Why take on a DEC largely unknown to the company when there might be an F/O that has a clean training record that fits well in the company and has proven themselves?

Extra revenue perhaps?

That link mentions nothing about paying for line training. Just the TR.

So how is it different from a non 737 rated DEC into Ryanair?

Well Tolan, if you can't see any difference in between the worst loco this world will ever see and the longhaul bit of a flag carrier, then what can I say???

During flight training a few years ago, my mates and I used to joke that in order to get a job with an airline in the future, you would need to bring your own aircraft with you! Maybe that time isn't so far off after all...

Cheers

if I have to bring my own plane, would be better to make my own company.

hey, would you be interested for block time:"300 hours on A320 for 30'000 euro+VAT". 500euro to apply and to test you.

...hurry up, place are limited.
