Cathay Pacific info, London base.

Hi,

Wondering if anyone can shed some light on life on being London based with with Cathay. All the usual bits and bobs, lifestyle, money, rostering, time to command etc, etc.

Any info greatly appreciated.

I have just had a look at PPJN, it depends what you are going there as i.e. captain or F/O. Looks like Hong Kong for a while, then transfer to europe base!

Mackey I sorry but you obviously have no idea what it is like to work for Cathay at any base let alone LHR.

the required seniority for a pax command in LHR is approximately 20 years. no kidding.

But about a fifth of that for a freighter command.
