just so all you doubters know, Jesus also invented dinosaurs, and aeroplanes, and runways, and asda, and lots of other stuff too numerous to mention. and the post was not meant to be a relief for job hunting people to express their depression or anxiety at their lack of work on xmas day, just an expression of my distaste and disappointment towards my ops department!!!!!

have a nice xmas!!

long-finals16, why don't you ask around the crew room? I often find somebody will be willing for a swap even on xmas. e.g. if you get NY day off, the singles often prefer it to xmas and vice versa with the "married with kids" who would much prefer a Xmas day to new years.

Otherwise take a santa hat in with you and make the most of it.

Don't call me a doubter, boy!

I do not doubt the non-existence of a god at all!

And if you have to make up a man in the skies to get your mind around having things like planes and runways, that's your business.

Have a lovely christmas,

Nic

...join the 'ratings' , ol' boy...

well , make it work for you, as I have in the past...(ol' maritime tradition, capt serves the crew) ...a twist on this is to 'donn' the apron & join the tucker chuckers & chuck tucker! A bit of fun, even if the 'horses' get mixed up with the 'doovers' and "dont get too worried,I said we had run outa the chicken, NOT run outa fuel!" ,always gets worked in there too. And if u deadhead the one sector, you can always get tangled up lifejakets&O2 masks doing the cabin demo. God be with you,Ma'salama, happy honika & Merry Xmas(just about the whole game covered there,I hope) ....and , stay Safe out there.
