It's simple really.
The people in charge of Pilot recruiting are NOT the people who know what financial shape the airline is in.
Sky have been short of crew for ages. It makes sense for them to recruit some.
The fact of whether the airline is solvent or not, is NOT the issue when trying to recruit. The recruiters would, like most employees, be the last to know if the company were going under........

One has to ask also, with the number of Boeing/Airbus crew on the market how can they be "short of crew", this must be some gig.

Does anyone know for sure if they have ceased ops, their website appears to be operating normally ( yes I know that doesn't mean much) but have they gone, or just a 1 day hiccup ?
