Part time and rostering options

Our airline is looking at giving pilots the part time option .

If anyone could let me know how your company does part time ?

This is a low cost airline that has 5 on,4 off, 5 on, 3 off for full time guys

As a few of our guys may not have a choice unfortunately

If you are on part time how it working transitioning from full time ?

Like one month one month off, etc.
or 5 on,8 off

Policy for returning from part time.

Thanks a lot for your feedback much appreciated, it could help some guys.

Hmnn. . . . . 5 on 4 off, 5 on 3 off, at a guess I'd say the aircraft are painted blue and yellow.

Ah yeah, I was thinking too laterally of some bods on 5/4 and others on 5/3 a la FR, but I forgot that 5/4 , 5/3 is the Easy pattern. Anyway someone from Crewing in FR won't come on here for advice , he/she will just implement whatever they are told to do. . . . silly me.

Part time in Easy is based on 5/2.
eg 50%: You have 10 working days in two weeks, random rostering, followed by two weeks P/T.
Other option is working 2 days one week and 3 the next week.

At my airline you basically work 2 months full time and have 1 month off for 75%. 1 month on and 1 month off for 50%.

I work 50%. Rosters are 28 day blocks so I do 10 days work in a 14 day block with 4 random days off. At least two of these days off are usually at the beginning or end of the block, adding them onto the 14 day N/A block.
So effectively I have a minimum of 16 consecutive days off every 28 days.
Also the pattern does not change, therefore I can work out when I will be off months (or even years!) in advance.

90% flex (36 days a year you're 'not employed' and you take them in blocks)
90% (3 days per month 'not employed')
75% (1 week per month (same week every month) or 2 every 2 months)
66% (10 days a month)
50% (every other odd or even month)
