Sounds like buying a pub might not be a bad idea: they'll be loads of ex XL and Zoom blokes blowing their redundancy in pubs by the sound of the previous posters!

blowing their redundancy
I doubt they'll be getting any redundancy money. They might be lucky to get last months pay.

Keep Smiling Guy's!!!!

Hi Guy's and Gals,

As someone whose been hard done by many a time in this flying career of mine!!! And having had to be rescued by my much better looking stable half with stable career for the love of flying that I can't seem to shake on more than one occasion.

I must commend all of you great Guy's and Gals on your great sense of humour during these really crazy times!!!

Keep smiling all!!! The world will Smile with you!!! You will be back in the air again before you know it!!!

Enjoy the pub!!!!

You all sure as hell deserve a beer!!!

See you back in the blue sky's soon!!!

Until then Happy Landings

Agree with all the above would like to think I could keep my sense of humour if (when) this happens to me... easier said than done.

A lot of contract jobs in India/Japan/China/Korea and the Middle East ...wouldn't discount the sandpit....been looking at it quite closely myself recently and the lifestyle with some of these companies is something else (even if the pay is not what it once was).

All the best.
