Farnair, any info?
Hi,
I am looking at applying to Farnair as an ATR captain.
Does anyone have any info about pay, rosters, lifestyle, company culture, etc.
Also, what is life like in Basel. Essentially I'm looking for information so that I can answer the old "why do you want to work for Farnair" question, so if anyone has any good reasons for why I might want to work for them, any help will be very much apreciated.
Thanks,
Spades

Basel is a very nice city... but you will almost never fly out of it!
The main ops are in Cologne and it is night cargo for UPS.
Quite old aircrafts but well maintained, relations with the swiss guys can sometimes be very "interesting".
And they are desperate for experienced ATR commanders, but the pay and conditions are not in accordance of what they expect from you.
