Cathay Pacific (Cadet Pilot Program)

Hi, this is my first edit to this board and maybe I took the wrong topic. If so, I´m very sorry about that.

I´m highly interested in the Cathay Pacific Cadet Pilot Program, but a Hong Kong temporary resident card is required. (By the way: A Cathay Pacific pilot told me that he´s sure that just the temporary one is required and NOT the permanent like it´s written on the job FAQ of their homepage) Unfortunately I don´t have such a card. Are there as a european citizen any possibilities to obtain this status/card?

Over and above, I´d like to know what a kind of company Cathay is. Some reports in the internet tell from a great employer, while others claim the opposite. What´s true?

Thank you very much in advance for your help!

Hi Speedy,

You should be able to find the info you are looking for in the "Fragrant Harbour Wannabees" section (further down the screen from "Terms and Endearment").
