need more info on LOT POLISH...

Could anyone plase give me more info on LOT?

I wanted to know how many days off/work you get on reserve on line?
What's the latest pay scales?
How messed up are things between LOT and Central Wings unions?
How are overnights/hotels?
Are there mostly day trips or more overnights?
How is training and where is it held?
Is there housing/allowence during training?

Is it hard to get hired with LOT? How is the interview? Tech or more HR?

AND if you have an FAA ATP, is it true that you could still get hired on basis that you'll finish your JAA ATPL conversion within a year?

Thanks

Mate, your questions depend very much on which fleet you will be employed on...

At this time, the ERJ 145 is due to retire by 2010 and so the chances are youll go to the EMB170...

As for the EMB170, you get about 10-12days off a month, more or less, about 7-10 overnights.

Under the new deal now, you have to pay for your TR, deducted from pay over 6yrs...

LOT and Centralwings... forever problems, who knows whats going to happen, presently talking about mergering the 2.

Hotels vary from Novotels, to av 3 star accom.

More day trips, there and back then overnight.

Training is good, held, well again depends on type, the emb170 is at Helsinki or UK somewhere at the moment.

Get hired? Usual exams, apptitude tests ect, nothing out of the norm. A Psych assesment that lasts 6hrs, and a panel interview...

Not much hiring going on at the moment. However next recruitment is in a couple weeks, think only taking on around 12 pilots.

FAA ATP? Dont think so mate Need the JAA or they wont look at you. That may work at Eurolot (Daughter ATR operator) but not at LOT.

Goodluck

hi!
in addition to what aussie is saying, you must speak polish to be considered in LOT,and probably have a work permit if you come from outside the EU.
your basic salary as a FO in the first year will be around 5800zl=2850 USD plus per diem(500-800zl) and overtime if you fly more than 67 hours but currently we are just flying around 45-50hrs a month in the ERJ145 fleet.
