737 Pilots

Hi,

I am a 737 300-900 rated pilot with just over 500 hours on the NG. Would appreciate some info on any carriers currently looking for pilots matching my requirements. (I have about 850TT so Ryanair is now a no-no.)

Thanks in advance.

Have you tried Globespan or any of the agencies like Storm or Rishworths?
Good luck

Why is Ryanair a "no-no?"

Probably because he doesn't want to pay 29000 euro for a rating he already holds.

And also because they've increased their minimum requirements to 1500TT in adddition to the 500hrs on type.

Regarding FR, you use to be able to get out of paying for your rating again if you had 500 737 NG hours but they have recently changed their minimums to:

At least 1,500 hours JAR 25 experience and 500 hours total time on the B737-300 to 900...

And regarding Fly Globe Span I spoke to them last week and presently they are only recruiting for the B757/767.

Korean Air via Rishworth require 300 on the NG and 1000 TT which I know you dont have but I think they would be a bit flexible with you since you have 500 on type....I know its a long way from home but its a job I guess..

Sorry to repeat the FR news seems me and Cabair wrote our posts at the same time...

Korean should go through CCL only. - They pay more and are nicer people. And you would be surprised that with the Korean contract, Cabair would be home more than with most contracts nearer home...

Karthago is looking for people for an immediate start (forgot which agency) and TVS is another option, though pay is low...

cheers IP

Job hunting

Hi Cabair....try airbaltic.com...735/733/757 and f50s ...2 bases, Riga (Latvia), and Vilnius (Lituania), some serious flying to a fab mix of sexy destinations, and places you simply will have difficulty spelling. I did it for a year and had a great time there. People there are great...in that you will be working with mostly ex pat f/o s but local captains and cc...dont expect UK salaries as a permanent employee, but they are taking contract crews for all fleets, and the pay scales are better.

Not ideal in a geographical sense, but its lots of hours fast...typically close to 100 per month

pm 4 more if interested.
