Hi there, I'm in the same position. Did you get information from Confair yet?

Hi all!,

How long did it take to call you for an interview from the moment you submitted your CV?

I have more than 1400 tt, and more than 330 on the 320, and currently working in another airline, but I want to make a move back to Europe.

Any info is appreciated!

Cheers

I also get the impression they're able to find all the highly experienced pilots they need. I heard hiring for 2008 was completed in April, and this is for the Eastern Europe/Ukraine bases too.

stby list Wizzair

any news from wizzair?
It seems they are calling people from the stby list, from summer 2007, to start in December 2008 ?
Could anyone confirm?
Regards

Wizz air bases

Hi guys,

Does anybody know where are Wizz Air bases?
Where are they short of pilots?
Are salaries the same throughout all bases?
What's the most popular base among pilots?

Thanks.

Does anybody know where Wizz Air bases are?
In Poland:
Katowice, Poznan , Warszawa, Gdansk
Kiev in Ukraine, Sofia in Bulgaria , Budapest in Hungary
In Romania: Bucharest, Timisoara, Cluj

Where are they short of pilots?
Ukraine but it's filling up quickly anyway

Are salaries the same throughout all bases?
Yes, details on PPJN (basic is low but don't forgot about flight pay which is not taxed so after all quiet good money in countries they operate)

What's the most popular base among pilots?

Budapest and Warsaw

I'm still waiting, 'hired' in june 2008 ... got told that the earliest time will be around now and maybe jan/feb 09....
According to Confair I'm in their payroll system for Wizz, but still no news from Wizz.
And the wait goes on and on.

A320/1 TRE/TRI told may be interested but not until Feb 2009 (ish) guess this reflects either: No backlog in training or that they have enough guys through sims just waiting for line training for the 2009 season. Seem a reasonable bunch no reason to doubt they will need more crews early next year. Lots of Airbus guys around at the moment, although some seem to be going to Asia and Middle East. Worked with Confair before, they are a good bunch wont string you along.
