Dear crewmember,

We have been unable to verify the credentials of a company called "FlyEurope Netherlands", who recently posted a couple of jobs on our jobs board, and to whom, according to our records, you sent an application.

We had a report that they asked for money (433 euros) from one of our registered users for "visa application, processing and handling", and we suspect this may be an attempt at fraud. At best, it is a very unusual approach in the industry, and we would very strongly discourage anyone from parting with any money after such a request, without being 100% sure of the parties involved.

We are unaware of anyone ever having become the victim of attempted fraud through our web site, and we would like to reassure you that we monitor the situation very closely, and that we will always act to protect our users.
Unfortunately, potential scammers are becoming rather more sophisticated and are now obtaining industry-specific information, which is making this somewhat more difficult. Nevertheless, we will always act as soon as we can.

If you became a member of the Flightdeck Club with the sole purpose of applying for a FlyEurope Netherlands job posting, please contact us so that we may review the situation.

If you have received a request for money from FlyEurope Netherlands, please send us a copy of their correspondence so that we may follow it up with the appropriate authorities.

Apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Please let us know if we can be of any further assistance.

Caution required here

The Fly Europe advert is nothing more than a copy of the adverts placed by agencies for Korean Airlines pilot recruitment.
It will NOT be a new airline so if they want money from you--beware !
