TCA Ts & Cs / SFO

What' the deal with SFO's T's & C's at TCA now post merger?

1. Are they aligned with the original TCX terms or with the My Travel terms?

2. Have salary scales been equalized or do the respective former Airlines maintain the original deals they were on?

3. Is there a "C" scale for new joiners that are more like the Monarch deal a few years ago?

1. With the MYT original terms.

2. The CCs are working on that but the aim is for equalized scales.

3. Bloody hope not. There has been no mention of it, stop giving the management ideas!!

I have been looking at the Websites, there is no Info for TCA salaries but the My Travel still says a basic of:-

First Officer (frozen ATPL) £44592
Senior First Officers receive a one off increment of 2% on completion of 5 years service, 4,500 hours and ATPL.

The old TCA info on PPJN was giving somewhere around £47000 for an SFO. I can't remember the F/O Basic.
If I recall you became an SFO a lot earlier at TCA.

The New info on PPJN as of 11th Feb gives an F/O basic of £43556 but no info for SFO. Any ideas as to which figures are the most accurate?

MYT : GBP 44,500 sounds about right for a year one FO (more than 1200 hrs), last year.

TCA: Negotiations still ongoing, but expect around GBP 47,000 for a year one FO (more than 1200 hrs)

Hope that helps.

They updated this website just before the recent recruitment round. Read into that what you will:-

http://www.thomascookjobs.co.uk/USER/airline/pilot.htm

and updated the salaries at:-

http://www.thomascookjobs.co.uk/USER...ot_salarie.htm

More of a look at how things are for current TCX pilots with the harmonisation for the future under discussion...

mbcxharm and Conway Bomber 2000,

Many thanks for the Info. I recently did the selection day at MAN, I'm just waiting for a start date now.
