Air Contractors Hercules

In reply to eahlund's query, the ACL Hercules is flown by guys with a mix of backgrounds; some ex-military (C130 funny old thing!) and some with purely civilian background. The last crew recruited to the Hercules fleet consisted of 2 ACL ATR pilots and an FE who had previously flown the 727 with ACL. None had any previous Herc experience but it was deemed that promotion from known personnel from within the company was most important.

Hope it helps.
