Betts Recruitment

Has anybody dealt with this firm? They advertise a lot in Flight and other sites but they seem to be very secretive about their services. After I applied for a position they advertised, there was nothing but silence. Now, I know its entirely possible that I may not be qualified for a specific position improbable as that seems, but does anyone have anything positive to say about them?
Are these recruitment firms, Betts specifically but any others as well, worth spending the time with?

Betts

I had a contract with Betts and found them very helpful.

The money arrived on time and was always correct, they also would send an email every now and again asking if every think was going well and asking for comments too.

Give them a call and ask if they can place you.

Betts

I am on my second job through Betts. They have been nothing but great to work with, I would highly recommend them. On the secretive thing, they have to be. Sometimes discretion is part of what they do, and they also get paid for placing you. If they tell you who the employer is why not bypass Betts and go straight to them?

Sometimes the process takes a lot of time. My first job through them took less than 24 hours, the second took almost six months from initial contact until the deal was done.

Good luck and say hi to Fiona.

I also had an excellent experience with Betts. They seem to take a much more personal approach to the whole process. I had spoken to a couple of other agencies prior to Betts and they left a sour taste in my mouth with their attitude.

Once again cannot recommend them highly enough.

Cheers,

I have some insight knowledge, just do a multimap.com search of the HQ postcode, click on ariel picture, and you will learn it is FB working from her spare bedroom.

I'll say no more
