Any gouge out there for an Air Hong Kong? Pay, QOL, schedule, commuting, lifestyle, etc?
How about the interview process?

first stage interview is in singapore, do tech exam first, then interview with a senior captain and a manager, all very friendly and down to earth.All the usual stuff, they just want to see u will stay for the 3 year contract.roster is 8 on 6 off, so no too bad, a few guys commute, but u must report for duty in singapore., second stage is sim ride in HK can be in 747/737 and final interview.I heard a rumour they have a penang base. I passed first stage, was offered a second, in the mean time i toook a job on a MD11.

Are U mad.
Pay poor..conditions change.. but u are bound by your side of the bargin..need to fight for everything..8/6 when they feel like it.. standard very questionable.. standard c@#p...when offered command, sign on for another bond etc etc etc...
In the current climate if u need to go there, maybe you should be a plumber.

AHK is small operation with big problems. The majority of crews have been very patient and understanding during the start-up process. However, the goodwill has run out. At the current rate of resignations, its is unlikly AHK will be able to continue operation in its present form for much longer.

Before you bitch and moan, the grass in not always greener on the other side.
I suggest you go for the interview, it is all good experience: assuming they are paying for your attendance, if they are not paying then that is worth noting, for future guidance.
