Flybe T&C

Hello everyone!

A very similar thread has been startet but not really answered, and yes, I have used the search function but without luck.

So here goes: could anyone shed some light on the T&C as flybe? here are some more specific questions:

1) What's the roster like including days off?
2) Where do they have bases and where am I likely to be based as a new F/O?
3) Type rating bonds - how long?
4) F/O salary (net approx. figures would be grateful please)?
5) Pension scheme if any and other benefits?
6) Any payment given to you during training i.e during Type course
7) Assessment.. details on interview/sim check please...
8) Whats the company like to work for as a pilot in your view?

I would be really greatfull for any info from insiders

Nick

1. 5 or 6 on 2 or 3 off. 3 earlies then 2 or 3 lates. 8 or 9 days off a month
2. EXT, SOU, NWI, IOM, BHD, GLA, EDI, MAN, BHX, JER, GCI, INV. Likely to BHD or IOM at present.
3. 3 year bond reduces monthly from the end of your line training.
4. Around £1800 after tax.
5. Pension 4% yourself, 6% by company in 1st year 8% in second 12% thereafter. Also loss of licence and private medical care.
6. On full salary during the type rating, get duty pay as well.
7. Interview & Sim can't answer as I went through the BACon recruitment myself.
8. Things seem to be settling down, personally i'm happy as I knew what I was getting when I joined. Was in the BACon holding pool but joined Flybe. Lots of experienced people that aren't happy though. Lots of flying to be had. On the ERJ 145 so can't really comment on what its like on the dash, but the 145 is great.

Anything else?

Hope that helps

Han.

6. Accomodation provided during type rating course
