First come, First served.

There's currently 4 FO's waiting for a transfer to EDI, and 3 waiting for GLA.

Between the two bases, there are 5 FO's on the transfer list to leave, so there will be movement, but as the base isn't really expanding, it's a case of how long is a piece of string?

If you're a new joiner - you'll be in the queue behind the above 7 (in theory!)

Apologies for hijacking the thread a bit here but out of curiosity, if you were to want LGW as a base how likely is it your request would be accommodated? And if not straight away any idea how long the usual wait time is?
Thanks

CB

The Scottish bases have some of the shortest waits in the company.

As for them not expanding, thats today ( in terms of aircraft numbers ).

The recent expansion at EDI and last years expansion at GLA is the most significant ever for EZY since they set up camp in Scotland.

If we can get the right deal with Bloody Awful Airports then watch it grow.

CEO has been quoted several times about wanting to expand here, esp in EDI.

Agreed , yet more strong rumours of at least another aircraft at each next season . . .. . . . . however , believe it when its trapped to your ass !

I believe there is no room to park another nightstopper at EDI at the mo' and that is the main reason we are not expanding there (Source ,EDI base Capt)

Cloud Bunny, I will answer your hijack. LGW is our largest base and since many people are trying to get out of there it is very easy to get a transfer there. Hope that made you happy
