Seatuser,

Are you interviewing for a specific aircraft type or do those types have available positions? How often do Cathay newhires go directly into a 777 FO position?

Would you have a preference?

Cheers

Care to share how you apply for Cathay? Their website has been revamped since I last viewed it and now all the employment info is gone.

All 747 Cargo as far as I am aware. Gouge is that they quiz you on both at Interview tho' I applied on-line in the summer-I don't know about any recent changes.

Please remember that there is an IFALPA recruitment ban on Cathay Pacific until the 51 pilots fired in July are reinstated.

SeatUser..There is a very good publication available from the Transer pilot shop here in London. If you are planning to apply to Cathay you really must get a copy as it has detailed info on all you need to know.

Hope that helps..Good luck
