Question What about the taxes?

Living in a tax free place (but an astronomical cost of living) and earning a tax free salary, whilst looking for greener pastures, I often wonder how much tax some of you all are paying and how much money I would have to make to afford the same standard of living.

I would like to get some feedback from some Pilots on comparative earnings:

Here goes: annual salary USD 120K + health insurance, loss of licence,travel benefits.
Upper middle class house USD 400K, mortgage @ 11%, BMW 520i USD 50k. Son at UK university @ USD 30K per annum
No tax,no pension, no social security, retire at 60
cost of living: Miami + 25%
