Specifically, we don’t do any overnights, the principle is early or late shifts. The new deal gives us a fixed roster, we work a pattern of 5 on 3 off 5 on 3 off alternating from earlies to lates. This pattern is set in stone so we can tell what we will be doing on any given day in the future.

Captain’s can take home about £4,500 a month and I think an F/O can get about £2,900. These figures include sector pay.

There is a pension scheme, loss of licence insurance of £150,000 IRL and a pretty comprehensive flight benefits set-up. There have been various threads on Pprune on this subject for your information and you can use the search facility to find these.

Share Options are a real plus, the IRL£100,000 worth of share options we got in December have increased in value by 25%, on top of an existing scheme which gives us £10K worth of options per annum (based on the company increasing profits by 25% per annum.

That’s the deal.
