Command interviews and courses tend to be more geared to what I call non tech attributes. You obviously have a large number of hours and experience to be in the position to be considered for command. I have found in the past that command assessments tend to concentrate on the following:

1. Co-Operation
a). Team building and Maintaining
b). Consideration of Others
c). Support of Others
d). Conflict solving

2. Leadership and Managerial Skills
a). Use of Authority and Assertiveness
b). Providing and Maintaining Standards
c). Planning and Co-Ordination
d). Workload Management

3. Situation Awareness
a). Awareness of Aircraft Systems
b). Awareness of External Enviroment
c). Awareness of Time

4. Decision Making
a). Problem Definition and Diagnosis
b). Option Generation
c). Risk Assessment
d). Outcome Review

Hope this helps.

First think I would do is to change your attitude. If you think Douche Bag is a suitable moniker here then you will never get anywhere on the command process.

Yes, that's also a very important virtue for a command: Overhear the guys who think they always know it better and always find a hair in your soup...

Cheers,
