Post Flying Instructing for a living

Hi All

I am a PPL holder and on the waiting list at LGU to do the ground exams, then going to do a CPL and FI to teach for a few years to firstly gain an all round experience and to get some worthwhile hours under my belt before doing the IR and applying to airlines.

What i was wondering is what the average, typical pay is for flying instructing. Is it paid per hour you fly, or are you salaried etc.. and is it possible to support yourself and the repayments on a loan to get the CPL in the first place ??

Thanks
