merge CCP and Aeropers
I strongly believe that the two unions should merge as quickly as possible. by mixing the two groups it'll be a lot easier for all concerned to form one pilotbody before we actually have to work together next year.

Interesting point of view, but you could do us all a favour by MERGING this post with the one cited below.

This will keep the number of topics down and will provide a better overview.

I think you're probably well-intended with this seemingly constructive suggestion, but I have to strongly disagree with you.
The only viable alternative available to the executive of Aeropers is to resign en masse immediately.
They can have no possible part to play in any furture representative group at Crossair, and should do the decent thing and rapidly vanish into the history books.
They have been exposed to the world, thanks to the Arena program, as imbeciles more interested in the continuation of their tawdry second rate industrial gangsters club, than doing anything positive to promote the future of Swiss civil aviation.
This is the time for a bold new thrust into the world of International Air Transport, and the last thing we need is a gaggle of cankered thugs lurking in the shadows.

YY you are being impolite yet again! If you are looking for thugs ,look closer to home & I don´t mean the CCP or LX pilots.I bet youré on the bottom of the seniority list; are you afraid of something ? do you miss Cranwell?I have to say I sense an innate instability & a tendency to rant.Nothing personal of course, but these characteristics are not ideal in a professional, especially an aviator,do you know any Aeropers board members?(no, not me I assure you )the ccp are now isolated from the world ,no Swiss Alpa,no Ifalpa; a microcosm of Switzerland you could say.... that´s the way thugs like it,I would advise caution & an effort to learn from each other as efcop pointed out. Both teams could learn new things .Hope for the best anyway, & YY please lighten up the GUV likes your posts so all is not lost in the popularity stakes

YY you're missing the point. I didn't say merge the two boards. I suggested the two pilot bodies be merged. there's a big difference.

Ever noticed that when you lift up a rock, or any other hard, inanimate object with built-in inertia, how many creepy-crawlies go racing about in all directions when the sunlight hits them......?
Cisco, rather than wasting time pondering who I am and what I'm like, why don't you dazzle us all with your golden argument? If, as seems likely, you disagree with what I write, then counter it with some reasoned thought of your own. In fact, I challenge you to give us some examples of where Aeropers, or in fact any pilot union, has acted in good faith in support of the people they claim to represent, and not in the maintenance and expansion of their own power.
Pilot unions are, I suggest, cancerous organisations that ineviatably lead to the downfall of companies they infest. Sabena, Ansett, shortly UAL, Delta if it's not careful....the list is long and ugly.
I accept and encourage that you disagree, Cisco.
Fine, we live in a pluralist world. But lets have more clear and reasoned argument and less murky muck-raking please. Its beneath you.
