Easyjet direct entry pilot 2007
Hello,
Does anybody have infos on the following;
1) In the recent assessments, were they offering direct entry positions or trying to force the trss even for d.e.p. profiles (Non type rated F/O with ATPL and commercial jet experience)? Has anybody received a d.e.p. offer recently?
2) Anybody could give feed-back on a recent assessment? Same deal as last year or content changes?

as far as I know, TRSS and DEC are 2 different schemes and are both recruited. (I heard there is not the possibility to do a jet handling course anymore, so it is better to pass the sim at first attempt otherwise you are not offered the job)
Assessment has not changed appart the fact there is not the psychometric questions anymore !
Holding pool is at least 6 months now

I just received (another) mail saying I'm shortlisted. But I'm rated. Rumour goes that they will start to select towards the end of the year in limited numbers.
I would guess that they would also accept non type rated. Keep on hoping.

know a couple of guys who are waiting direct entry holding pool for a year now. Another guy decided that was to long and took TRSS and started next month. Apparently there are seperate holding pools. Another TRSS guy I know started after a month of doing his selection.

Dont know the answer to the DEP question but the speed of hiring will pick as the end of the year approaches. This is because the aircraft delivery rate will increase significantly.The deliverys will increase to the rate of one aircraft every ten days.
This might have a direct effect on the level of the holding pool/pools.
