BA positions in the US

Question for all you BA folks. The base manager positions in the US -- are they filled internally or does a US national have a shot at these? Where do you find listings. How to apply?

There are a very limited number of UK staff that take these jobs, some via the graduate scheme and others will have already worked in operations at LHR. There are few openings these days as a UK staff member costs BA about a 1000 dollars a month work permit.
