Dear fellow aviators, just been offered a job, yes I am currently SF/O on a
B737, but the question is , will 110000Sfr/Yr keep me happy in Geneva??? The offering is FO on a brand new large bizz-jet...going all over the globe
question is is it enough or are they just trying to fool me???

110'000 SFR gross salary is above the norm for a bizjet FO. BUT.Is it a Swiss-based contract? will you pay income tax in Switzerland? is there a retirement scheme? other benefits? what are the duty cycles? is the aircraft operated private or commercial? what is the upgrading policy? what are the per diems? will you be bonded for the type-rating? Answers to these questions, and a couple others, are fundamental before judging the salary-package...

Itīs Swiss-based, incometax will be payed in Swizerland, There is a retirement scheme (though quite poor), no bond for TR, upgrade in apx 4-5 years, per diems as legislated in Swizerland, rostering apx two weeks on 8-10 days off.
