Thumbs up Contracts with easyJet?

Dear all,

Can anyone tell me if easyJet are using contract captains (B737) at the moment, and if so, which contract broker are they using???

Best regards,
Life Boat

I beg to differ, there have been several Agencies recruiting Contract Capts and F/Os for over a year now. Just check out FI and Aviation Jobs search .com websites.

Especially on 737 for Belfast and Newcastle.

All contract FO's have gone or will be gone within the next month from the Boeing fleet, I do not know about the Airbus. I have not met any Boeing contract Captains but that does not mean we dont have any. The management tell us we are now over crewed so it is highly unlikely that there will be any more contract pilots. The main reason for them in the first place was because the training system was at maximum capacity and type rated guys were needed to fill the gaps as a short term fix.

I've not flown with any contract captains on the 737 out of LTN, unless you count the couple of CTC trainers that do a few sectors occasionally.
