BA Shorthaul
Ok guys i know this topic has probably been covered many many many times before, but can anyone shed some light on the kinda routes and typical roster one can expect on the airbus at LHR (bearing in mind that when i join im gonna be at the bottom of the seniority list). Also what is the typical take home pay on good and bad months. Any other info on the LHR airbus fleet will also be very welcome.

You will probably get a blind line for the first few months (a roster assigned to you like any other airline does). You can still express preferences
on a blind line.
Expect blocks of 3-6 days on followed by 2-4 days off. Mostly 2 or 3 sector days, as to destinations name a major european city and we probably fly there check ba.com there is a good map for pax booking tickets.
Money is good after tax 3-3.5k.
Leave is good 4 weeks a year plus 2 duty free weeks (to work in or not your choice.
Its still agood place to be, better than average T+C, and some expantion (with consequent rapid rise up the seniority list). Also you get some control over rostering( bidline) and fleet.
