Tax break for computers

Hi everyone,

My employer(UK based) now isues the manuals on CD or has done for some time now.Can we claim that back on tax as an operating/required expense? Has anyone had any experience with this?Or is itjust as contentious as it is claiming for just about everything else?
Cheers

We tried that.

The Revenue person refused most of our claims (a few got through the net) and I appealed twice against their refusal to allow.
The final letter from them told me that pilots flew 'planes' and computers had nothing to do with it.

Brilliant.
