Easyjet pay

Hi all

Any of you have accurate information about the average pay for a captain, after taxes (take home) with Easyjet?

Many thanks for your time.
Happy landings

Hi scopiton

True, but the figures at their website are gross, if I'm right. What I would like to know is how much you take home, in average, after taxes.

Thanks a lot

it depends on where you're based.
ORY figures are different to MAD which are different to UK, SXF, DTM, MXP

the tax calculator is great !!

as we are talking about that, I wonder how is cost life in England.
I'm living in canada and for sure life is not expensive over there but you pay a lot of taxes and medical plans are high.
what about rents, cost living etc ?
What can you do with a cadet pay in london ? can soemone precise things ?

Live in cardboard boxes

If you have flight school debts and are coming at a reduced salary, consider bases further up North (if you're going to be UK). You'll have a much better lifestyle. Near LGW, STN or LTN you won't basically be able to live on your own in a half-decent one bedroom flat. Honestly, unless you're coming for Paris you're in for shoc in terms of what you'll get for your money.

I have found that the prices in the UK, especially London area, are about the same as in North America. Just that they are in GBP instead of dollars!

So in other words, thanks to Mr Bush....costs are relatively low in the US and Canada! So you want to earn your money in the UK and spend it in the US! Just an interesting example! A Triumph motorcycle, made in the UK is MUCH cheaper in the US than in the UK! Amazing what taxes can do, isnīt it????

Good luck!
