Hello Rotax,

Current 737 bases are LTN, BFS and NCL. All -300's have now gone only -700's remain. I believe the last lease expires in about 2012 so there will be some 737 presence until then. I think the first NG lease is up in about 2009.

Of course it could all change...........

2 NG went in Dec and 4 are going in Jan, so it looks like the start of the end for the 737's.

Anybody any idea how long BFS will remain a Boeing base? From reading the above, I guess it will eventually go Airbus.

Cheers

There is currently a 737NG conversion course for EZY at CTC, and another planned for Feb.

Would that be for DE or for TRSS contracts ?

Do you boys who have gone from the NG to the Scarebus prefer the 319? or were you happier with the 73?

Okay then, thx for that. I reckon some bright days can still be expected for the orange boeing. Having applied 3 months ago for TRSS scheme, should I pass, I would be willing to get the boeing, and LTN as a base preference.

As for you guys who are on the 737 course, were u given the choice ? at which stage of the process did you tell'em you would go for the boeing ?

Any indication of your background would be appreciated as well.
I have 2700 TT of which 1200 ATR, 1100 Twotter ... and updating application every 3 or 4 days.

cheers

Question base options

hi guys,
I'm starting with ezy in jan my refreshing course..
I've been told that my base will be NCL. For personal problems I really need LTN as base for going home (commuting).
Does anybody know how can i change it (if any chance) and how long is gonna take before they will accept my request?

Thanks guys for your help!

When you receive your letter advising your base allocation, it will include the email address of your base captain to ask to be placed on the transfer list for whichever base you require.
