Interesting, Gaz, but as I say if you have a money shortage what you really have is an ideas shortage.
Money doesn't solve all your challenges but at least if you have it you can arrive at your problems in style. Also I have had money and not had it and I know which I prefer.
I notice that those who say "money isn't everything" are often those who are quite well off.
Around two thirds of the parables in the Bible involve money and if the Good Samaritan had not had any spare money he would not have been able to pay keep the guy at the inn after he had been beaten up and robbed.
The other one I like is that the best way to help the poor is to make sure you are not one of them.
