Easyjet new Flight and Duty Rules
My company is in the process of taking on CAP371, as our duty rules
We are a LCC not based in the UK, and our flying is similar to Easyjet.
What are the advantages for the crew under the new rules ?
Are the rules truly a Fatigue managment program.
What are your thoughts.

Simple answer is don't use CAP371 as your rule base, you will not survive.
Use the proposed EU FTL, or the Irish rules (simple). CAP371 is a complicated scheme to follow, the UK airlines have generally got used to it but its 10 years out of date.
CAP371 only provides crew limited protection, you can still work crew to maximum and mess them around from days to nights to days if you want / have to.
Easyjet have a variation that allows 5 earlies on the trot, whereas for example the EU or Irish rules, you can just do it without variation.
