Monarch Interview

A friend has an interview coming up soon with Monarch. He's currently a tp FO. Any info on the interview format would be welcome. And will there be a sim check?

Thanks!

No sim check

Good old fashioned chat with a management pilot....know about MON, be yourself (himself) and most of all go in with a positive attitude

Just wondering if anyone has any feedback from the latest round of interviews?

'Been told it's for a hold pool - any clues as to which fleet/base?

Thanks

I joined about 4 months ago and I really like it. After the interview I recived a letter telling me I was in the holding pool. But that was fine because I wasnīt even finnished with my A320 typerating at the time. Just 2 weeks later they phoned me up and gave me a startingdate which was only 3 days after my skilltest.
Now Iīm flying my as off @ LGW.
People says itīs not a good airline but so far I like it and you are flying with nice guys.
I was nervous before my interview but there was nothing to worry about. It was only a very relaxed chat with chief pilot and fleet manager. If they like you you will get onboard, the roumer says 60 new hires.

Good luck

757 out of LGW

What's the likelihood of a newhire getting 757 out of LGW? If LGW is the desired base, would A320 be more likely than 757? Is there any difference in terms of destinations between the 757 and the A320 out of LGW or are they the same?

If not at LGW, are 757s based at other London area airports like STN or LTN?

Cheers

Another big recruitment drive coming up - I'm guessing those of you with type ratings will be snapped up. Latest figures I heard was 44 people required.

What would you say the best way to apply is. On the website you can either fill in an application or send a CV to the cheif pilot...

Best Regards
